Dana was raised in Summit, NJ. She received her undergraduate degree in Special Education with a concentration in Natural Sciences. She moved to Maryland to attend the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, from which she received a graduate degree in acupuncture. Then it was off to Burlington, VT. Living in Burlington was a blast, but her family was still in NJ, so Dana decided to move back to her home state.
Once she was here, she was shocked to find that NJ had no community acupuncture clinics. Dana's work was cut out for her. Bringing community style acupuncture to NJ became her goal. In Feb. of 2011, she opened NJ Community Acupuncture in Morristown. It continues to be one of only two community acupuncture centers in the state of NJ. Patients from all over northern NJ come to Dana because of her proven track record with patients and the supportive community setting at her clinic.
